About the practice
A coaching practice built around one idea: lasting change happens at the threshold.
My story
I came to coaching the way most people come to anything that actually matters: sideways, through something hard.
A few years back I was exactly where many of the people I work with are now. Good life, by most measures. Clear enough on paper. Still, something felt stuck. A persistent gap between who I was and who I sensed I could be, between what I was doing and what felt true. I had read the books. Done the work. And still couldn't seem to move.
What helped me wasn't more information. It was honest conversation. A space where the practical and the deeper stuff could sit together, where I didn't have to pretend one side of my life was separate from the other.
That's what I trained to offer. I went through formal coaching certification covering life coaching, mindset work, and spiritual and personal growth practice, because I wanted to hold both dimensions with real skill, not just intuition. Then I built Stillwater Threshold around the thing that had made the difference for me: the threshold itself. That moment of discomfort and possibility right in the middle of a crossing.
How I work
The sessions hold both the practical and the deeper in the same space. We don't separate mindset from spirituality, or strategy from meaning. A career decision and a recurring emotional pattern often turn out to be the same problem wearing different clothes.
I work with mid-career adults who are at a specific point of transition: a career shift, a relationship change, an identity question, a persistent stuckness that self-help hasn't resolved. People who are self-aware, who have done the reading, who know their patterns and still can't move. That's the exact moment this work was built for.
Sessions are one-to-one and online. I also run small group circles for people who want to do real work in a witnessed, communal space. Both carry the same orientation: present to what's actually here, working toward what's actually wanted.

What to expect
Honest before hopeful
Real coaching starts with a clear look at what's actually happening. Not what we wish were happening, not what sounds good. What is true right now.
Both the practical and the deep
You don't have to choose. The sessions hold a career decision and an emotional pattern in the same breath. Usually they are the same question, just arrived from different directions.
Slow enough to be real
Change doesn't arrive on schedule. This work doesn't rush the crossing. It makes the threshold itself livable, so you can actually move through it.
Start with one conversation
